The 13th Annual Denver Public Safety Luncheon presented by Columbine Health Plan and Sage Hospitality will be held on Thursday, November 2 from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm. This year's format will include the heads of the public safety agencies for the City of Denver participating in an update about current issues and innovations in their area of local public safety efforts. The goal of the event is to inform the business community and other interested parties on public safety innovations in Denver.
The Jerry Kennedy Public Safety Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented to Denver Police Chief Gerald Whitman and the David J. Cole Denver Public Safety Citizens Award will be presented to Mike Mills.
All proceeds benefit six Denver charities that focus on public safety, Denver Fire Department Foundation, Denver Health Foundation, Denver DA Justice Programs Foundation, Metro Denver Crime Stoppers, Denver Police Foundation, the Denver Sheriff's Orphans Fund.
